Please join The Nonprofit Partnership's Women @ Work member affinity group for the Succulents & Self-Care Workshop on Friday, September 13th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 a.m. at The Nonprofit Partnership!

 

 

In today's fast-paced environment, maintaining well-being is crucial. Balancing professional growth with personal self-care can be challenging. That’s why Growing Wellness's workshop, Succulents & Self-Care™ offers a unique approach to enhancing well-being by combining the therapeutic benefits of hands-on succulent planting, creative expression, and practical self-care strategies that seamlessly integrate into daily life.

Attendees will embark on a 1-hour interactive journey of self-discovery, exploring personal resilience, mental rejuvenation and fostering meaningful connections that promote teamwork and positivity.

Participants take home a tangible reminder about the importance of self-care and living in balance to reduce stress and improve well-being. Each unique succulent creation will serve as a living testament to resiliency, growth of individuals personal and professional journeys!

 

Coffee and light breakfast will be provided. The session will begin with networking at 9:30 a.m. in the NPP Training Room, and the workshop will start at 10 a.m. in the ECF Barn. 

This event is exclusively for members of The Nonprofit Partnership and tickets can be purchased for $35.

Hosting a Succulents & Self-Care Workshop™ offers a unique workshop experience that combines the benefits of nature and shared experiences to enhance holistic well-being. Led by Katie Gassner, an avid horticulture enthusiast and seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in substance use prevention and treatment, this workshop provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for participants. Katie's positive and hope-inducing approach emphasizes the importance of self-care for caregivers and professionals. As a Nationally Certified Tobacco Treatment Professional and consultant to Pennsylvania's Statewide Tobacco Free Recovery Initiative, Katie's expertise adds significant value to the workshop, making it unmatched in its impact.
