Leadership Way is a forum for leaders of NPP member organizations. This forum provides an opportunity for CEOs and EDs to come together to network and learn from experts in the sector – and one another. Our hope is that Leadership Way will help participants begin to break out of the isolation and silos that many in CEO and ED positions often report.

An excerpt from Rina's 2022 nominator:

Through her incredible analytical and organizational skills, immeasurable compassion, and unparalleled empathy, Rina Irwin exemplifies servant leadership. She makes it clear in her work each day that in order to effectively serve families, she must first serve her employees through consistent engagement, professional development, and the maintenance of open communication at all levels of the organization. She emphasizes the vital role each team member plays in advancing our mission - from our custodians who keep our centers clean to our County Administrators who ensure operational efficiency across several departments. In Rina's eyes, we all play an equally impactful role in each child's growth and development, herself included, and she makes it clear to all staff. She understands that when employees feel fulfilled and that they are thriving in their roles, they produce high-quality work more efficiently and productively. She ensures that every team member, at all levels, has the resources they need in order to thrive in their roles, and she constantly encourages continuous growth and improvement. As her dedication and drive is contagious, she inspires those she interacts with to become better leaders as well.
