Empower HER is an affinity group for female members of The Nonprofit Partnership, designed to connect, support, and elevate women in the sector. Through professional development sessions, we aim to provide practical skills and insights to help women navigate leadership challenges and thrive in mission-driven work. Our peer support and networking events promote collaboration, creating a strong community of women lifting each other up.

This month’s session focuses on Personal PR—how to define, develop, and amplify your own brand with confidence. Your personal brand is your story, and knowing how to own and communicate it can open doors to new opportunities.

We’re excited to welcome Sonya Byes, board member of Erie Women’s Empowerment and creator of Chatting with Sonya and Friends, as our Influence HER for the month! Sonya will lead an engaging conversation on leveraging your unique voice, advocating for yourself, and using personal PR to build influence and impact.
