The Standards for Excellence® series provides a framework and step-by-step guidelines to achieve a well-managed and responsibly governed organization. The code builds upon the legal foundations of nonprofit management, governance, and operations and provides an outstanding “how to guide” to achieve excellence within your nonprofit.

This session will provide an overview of the Standards for Excellence® with a specific focus on Resource Development. Topics to be covered include:

• Sources of Income
• Fundraising Activities
• Donor Relationships and Privacy
• Acceptance of Gifts
• Fundraising on Behalf of the Organization
