About Ted

Ted Wood, president, began his career in 1982 with the international fundraising consulting firm, Ketchum, Inc. as senior campaign director and then as vice president of campaign supervision and staff training.  During that time he directed and supervised major gift campaigns throughout the Eastern United States, and in Canada and Great Britain.

Following an 11-year tenure with Ketchum, Ted joined the University of Pittsburgh to lead the university’s campaign initiatives. He later headed Pitt’s major gifts program and supervised the foundation, corporation, planned giving and donor research operations.

In 1996, Ted established himself as an independent fundraising consultant specializing in individualized major gifts counsel to non-profits.

In more than 40 years of fundraising consulting and campaign direction, Ted has been able to guide over 200 non-profits in achieving their major gift fundraising objectives.
